Ankita Communications

Lalit Gupta (Proprietor) started Ankita Communications in 1987 in New Delhi. The printing diploma holder started with his own company after working in an advertising agency for 3 years with a thought of doing something different. His idea of success always remains as “Winners don’t do different things they do things differently”. Until 2002, he outsourced all the printing work, then in 2002 he established his company as a pre press service bureau. With his theory/ideas of comping up with different ideas he came up with first CTCP (Computer to conventional plate) machine in North India.

Pre-Press :

For the past 15 years now Ankita has been in pre-Press industry with current portfolio that includes Commercial print products. These includes both long run offset products printing outside and short run prints such as broachers, wedding cards, visiting cards, booklets, leaflets, sweet box, Photo albums, diaries, etc. printed in-house digital press.

We currently have 3 CTCP’s – two from Basys print and one Topaz. For short and variable prints we have – a canon C650 and Konica Minolta 71 HC.

In Oct 2017, Ankita Communications purchased first digital embellishment press in North India– Scodix Ultra Pro – For UV & Foiling. The Scodix Ultra Pro Digital Enhancement Press enriches the digital output, providing unique, eye-catching UV coatings and foiling effects.

It is a digital enhancement press that brings in flexibility, quality and productivity for the commercial PSPs and folding carton converters. The machine enables us to produce tangible enhancements for a wide variety of applications, ranging from marketing collateral, premium packages, photo albums along with variable data printing (VDP) capabilities based on barcode systems.
Scodix Ultra is a versatile digital enhancement solution that is capable of delivering Scodix foil, Scodix SENSE, Scodix Metallic, Scodix Glitter, Scodix VDP and Scodix Cast & Cure digital enhancements, all in one system.

Why did you choose this particular machine?

We were looking for expansion with diversification in the industry. We found that digital enhancement was a solution, which will helps us to be a step ahead of others. We will now be a service bureau for digital enhancement, wherein print firms can get their jobs enhanced from us with full security of the jobs. A win-win situation for both.

How fast/productive is it?

The speed is 120 A4 pages per minute for all stock weights.
